Your acknowledgment that you might not have all the answers, but are committed to growth, is truly commendable. In the realm of self-improvement, acknowledging one's learning curve is a triumph in itself. It signifies a willingness to step out of your comfort zone, confront challenges, and learn from experiences. Remember, the journey of growth is often accompanied by moments of uncertainty, and your positive attitude towards it sets the stage for remarkable achievements. Keep nurturing this mindset, as it lays the foundation for continuous progress and success on the path of self-discovery. Your awareness of your own evolution is a powerful testament to your resilience and determination. Keep moving forward, for every step you take is a stride towards a brighter, more accomplished future.koe61831https://www.blogger.com/profile/05395200316713925178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1977517942115285189.post-85522977455144394712017-07-16T08:14:51.599-07:002017-07-16T08:14:51.599-07:00"My commitment to growth must override my des..."My commitment to growth must override my desire to stay comfortable." - Well said!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07719708869651553884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1977517942115285189.post-82275871396790116992016-12-27T14:10:27.847-08:002016-12-27T14:10:27.847-08:00Danny we need to shift the school culture from one...Danny we need to shift the school culture from one of failure to "if you fail you will succeed". Spot on thanks for being a great leader! I'm sorry it took me so long to respond...Bill,

I'm sorry it took me so long to respond to you, but thanks for taking the time to read and comment! Principals need to model vulnerability for teachers and teachers need to model vulnerability for their students. Additionally, I think it's important for principals to create a safe and secure environment for teachers to feel comfortable taking risks ... and even failing! And teachers need to do the same for their kids.

Thanks for engaging, and hope you have a great rest of the summer.

(And you can only "tag' people when your are posting a picture. In the process of posting a pic, you scroll underneath the pic, and it will say, "Who's in this picture?".

DannyDanny Steelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17790379024894061867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1977517942115285189.post-86586261500316380412016-07-09T06:50:50.263-07:002016-07-09T06:50:50.263-07:00Hey Danny,
Two things: First, I dug your though...Hey Danny,

Two things: First, I dug your thoughts on "I might not know what I am doing, but I know that I am growing." That's a notion that we need to push with our students, too. All too often, they see struggle as a sign of weakness instead of a sign of growing stronger. I wonder how we create schools where kids aren't afraid to feel like they don't know what they are doing!

Second, I don't know how to tag people in Twitter yet! Moral of the story, there's always something to learn -- no matter how long you've lived in digital spaces!

Thanks for sharing this,
BillAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
